Another tribute to a trailer music company - Position Music this time. Unlike the previous one (Nero), which was an epic piece, this one is more of a magical fantasy style. This side of the trailer music genre has been eclipsed by the increasingly popular epic and orchestral hybrid compositions, but it definitely has a place in my heart.
Once Upon A Time was written for the piano accompanied by quiet strings and some light percussion instruments, with a flute joining in for the crescendo. My performance, however, is a pure piano version, into which I incorporated the flute theme, as that is the highlight of the piece.
