Havasi is a Hungarian pianist and composer of contemporary classical music. "Lacrimosa" is his first composition that I encountered and it immediately won my heart. It was the most wonderful piece of music I had heard in a long time. I'm speaking about the full orchestral version with a huge choir, haunting solo vocals, and epic taiko and rock drums. These are in fact the three elements that make Havasi's compositions so different from the old classical compositions (which, I must admit, I do not enjoy very much).
